“Toothless Princess” Starts A New Viral TikTok Trend To Help Reduce Denture-Related Stigma
By now, you’ve probably seen the viral videos by self-proclaimed “toothless princess” aka @princxssglitterhead on TikTok. Her videos have garnered over 150 million views and have been featured on Buzzfeed, Yahoo! News, The New York Post, Complex and The Daily Mail to name a few.
Since going viral, she has amassed over 1.5 million subscribers, 11.5 million likes and has inspired a new generation of young people to be open and transparent about getting dentures at a young age.

In the videos, she documents her journey and explains how her teeth began to rapidly decay during pregnancy and how it negatively impacted her self-esteem and led to depression.
“During my pregnancy, my teeth rapidly began to decay — from the inside out. Both of my eye teeth broke off at the gum line a week or so apart from each other,” she told BuzzFeed. “I remember laying in my yard feeling like my life was over. I would never be respected. I would never be pretty. My husband might leave me. He married me with perfect teeth and within a year I was already missing teeth.”
She even notes being too embarrassed to even talk in public and never wanting to smile. Now, she is using her past adversity to inspire others and shed light on dental health during pregnancy.
