Dr. Todd Shatkin and the entire team at the Aesthetic Associates Centre would like to wish a Happy Veterans Day to all those who served to protect our freedoms.
This year to honor our Veterans, we participated in the Halloween Candy Buy-Back program which helped us send 611 pounds of candy to our troops stationed overseas via Operation Gratitude.
The response from the community was overwhelming and we can’t thank everyone enough for their participating in helping make this years program a success.
A big part of this years success was due to the children and teachers at Herbert Hoover Elementary School and their generous donation of 450 lbs of candy.
A check for $450 was presented by Dr Todd Shatkin to Michelle and Garret, teachers at the school, and will be used to fund programs for the children.
Thanks to everyone’s help and overwhelming support, the 611 pounds of candy had to be loaded onto a pallet for shipment and is currently making it’s way to our deserving troops for a sweet treat during their deployment.
Dr. Shatkin and the entire team at the Aesthetic Associates Centre is truly honored to be able to give back to our veterans who have provided their selfless service to our country.
